Default two wet flies, Cassaboom and Bunting

Been spending more & more time tying flies I probably wont ever fish but are fun to tie. Working on technique more than anything else. I like both patterns here, not sure I tied them all that well, but practice makes better :

Regards

Dean, please don't take this wrong, but seriously man, your bugs have gotten WAY prettier! I mean, your old stuff caught fish, but you have clearly taken it to a new level... what gives?

It has become a hobby, I've invested time & money (lots of time, not a whole lot of money yet) in learning the craft. I've done more research, reading & practicing than most folks would, and I'll probably never fish most of what I've tied.

I agree that the crap I tied for fishing was, well, crap. I caught some fish, but didn't take the time to learn the craft. I backed up, started over and re-invented my style.

Soooo many great tiers out there to learn from, and sooo many different styles and patterns to explore. It's just fun

and like I said, practice makes better.....

Dean

Looks good man. It is awesome that you are trying to perfect your style with tying, something to be admired.
