West Denver TU Fly Clinic?

Has the date been set yet? This has been one of my favorite fly related events in recent years, but I missed it last year. Really want to hit the 2012 one! And, when the date is known, please post it on the fly Fishing Forum board as well as here. It wasn't there last year and that is how I missed it.

Thanks!

I missed it also last year, even though I had discount tickets in my wallet. According to Charlie Cravens tying demo schedule, it's Feb 11.
See you there.

Thanks Herman. I'll see you there. I'll be at the BPS/WRFS table again this year.

It's a lot of fun. It is always great to talk to some of the best tyers around. I learn something new every year. Come out and support the West Denver TU Chapter.

Do they serve beer?

Y'know, I think they would do well if they stopped calling it a 'Fly Clinic' and started serving and calling it a 'Fly Tying Beer Bust'

Oh, just don't trim that deer hair into your brewski.... blecccch!

I'd like to add my thanks and congratulations to Bill Searles. His table was crowded all day, probably mostly due to the very realistic "Shelf Liner Ant" pattern he was displaying and demonstrating. Being the good guy that he is, Bill went out of his way to keep saying that he did not invent this fly. He just happens to tie it very well.

I've posted the best description I can give of the tying instructions on the tying board at www.flyanglers.org.

Bill, if you have posted a picture or pictorial of this fly anywhere online, please post a link here.
