Default Rotary vise

Considering a budget upgrade from my budget beginner vise...
Has anyone had any experience with the Colorado Angler Supply Rotary Vise?

not sure about that vise, no experience at all with it... a similar vise that is close to the same price that everyone seems to have had good luck with (including myself) is the danvise.

if you really want a rotary vise spend about $20 more and get the Griffinn Odyssey Spider vise. The vise is a lot better built.

I have this vise (a little different, but basically the same) it holds hooks OK if your crank it down a lot. The base moves around on you too much. Makes me realize that a heavy base (regal) and reliable name brand jaws are worth the money. After a year I'm looking to upgrade, but it will do alright if you tie occasionally.

Thanks for the input, I had some gift cards to Sportsmen's Warehouse from christmas but I think I'll use it on supplies and save for the vise later.
