Default Deer hair help

Went to charles yesterday. I really needed some white deer belly hair. Out of the four they had only two were mainly white. They still have a tan tint to them
I was thinking of soaking them in bleach, but if I do this do I need some conditioner to make the hair soft, and un-brittle?
At a stand still and it's driving me nuts. Come on old timers share some knowledge
Thanks

Peroxide may be a better alternative without the harshness of bleach... Not sure it would get it where you want though... I am not an old timer, forgive me...

Ok tak a medium sized sauce pan. Fill with hot water from the tap. About a half a cap of bleach.
Wash with dawn soap, to get rid of any grease
Let the hair soak for a while then wash with dawn dish soap.
Got two in the mix and I'll let cha all know what happens

I have a couple patches of nice white belly hair, so if your experiment goes wrong, let me know and you can have mine.
