Pretty cool stuff. I'm a huge fan of survival stuff like that. He is taking a lot of grief in the comments for never using the stuff to actually catch a fish on video, but I bet I could make a fish eat that even on twine. Thanks for the link.

It's also interesting to think that if somehow we all went back in time and lost our modern fishing rods, reels, and lines, none of us would be able to catch fish even though we are "experts".

Yes I have...many times as a kid. Grew up on Monument Lake and would reach under the cut banks and catch trout and suckers in the stream entering the lake ...
