Help with a fly

I have a friend who has moved out of the area who tied several of these "Articulated" midges for me. They have proven quite deadly and I can't find anyone who can duplicate these for me. Any help would be appreciated. Unfortunately I am a "Buyer" not a"Tyer"

Check out sierradrifters.com, they have several patterns like that they call Brokeback Midges...

The ones with three hooks work way better.

I would try contacting Juan Ramirez "Hopper Juan". http://hopperjuan.blogspot.com/ Sometimes he will do custom orders like that. [email protected] include a picture in your email.

Hope this helps,
John G.

Interesting? I tie lots of diff midge patterns, but never gave a thought to an articulated midge...

Articulated midges are hot in the Eastern Sierras, but I have yet to see one in a shop in Colorado...

Most of the ones I see here in colorado are the olive damselfly larva type's.
