I agree this looks awesome, but why not just use a swim bait? It looks nearly Identical to a magic swimmer Sebile or even more similar to a "banjo minnow."

Ive know the tier for 20+ years now and he has always been obsessed with the action from swimbaits and rap's. His Gummy Minnow is killer on salt and freshwater for the fly.

I may have to see if he can send me some of those. that has one of the most wicked actions ive ever seen.

And Dakota, why question what method? Fly tying is about finding solutions. The guy found some solutions to make a better streamer, I'd think embracing it is more appropriate.

Looks awesome but a bit too much effort to tie up. I'll just buy a few finished streamers.

Got it. You are right about the swimbait. I now carry a spinning rod to plya with.

looking forward to trying out that pattern though. Just sick

Couldn't you just replicate pretty much the same thing by just make a streamer articulated using wire connectors with varying degrees of hook sizes? Articulate that shizz like 5 times.

Although I will probably buy one of these little sets or whatever to try ou.

I was on his site a week ago and it didn't seem like he sold them finished. He sold numerous other patterns but not the game changer. I sent an email and have heard nothing back.
If Anyone finds where a guy can buy them please let me know.

I'm interested in finding a source for the finished product as well. It will be a couple of years before I will have the time to sit down and tie a fly..

If you really want one that bad just make your own. You can buy articulated shanks, they aren't new.

As always with fly tying, I'm sure there is a much more simple tie that would be just as effective. I would think that the articulated action is the important feature. Just pile on some maribou for the body and a stiff feather or something to give the tail end some resistance for the kick.
