Default Lost Wading Staff -- Cheesman Canyon

On Wednesday September 19. It's got to be somewhere along the Gill Trail, but I'm still scratching my head over how this happened. Maybe the lanyard failed.

It's a one-piece Dan Bailey that I picked up from Flies and Lies. I'll happily turn over a few nice flies to the guy or gal who reunites me with my staff. Thanks!

From the upper or lower lot? I might be heading that way this weekend, maybe a long shot, but if I do I'll keep an eye out.

I hiked up from the new parking lot (where the campground once operated). But somehow or other, I got separated from it by the time I hit the river.

Since I've got a personal rule about wading without a staff (don't do it) my fishing yesterday was pretty darn limited.

That's the price of getting old and wobbly. Sigh.

Bummer man. Hope you find it. Mine's a fold-up job that is tethered to the case that goes on the wading belt. I hafta tie everything on me or oops, it's down the trail or down the current... kinda like the spinning rod I lost out of the belly boat... thank heaven for velcro and carabiners!
