Would be cool as hell if some dude got his box back like 5 years after he lost it!!!!

Giving that kind of happiness to someone is a bigger thrill for me than the thrill of landing a loaded fly box! At first, I thought... jackpot! But then I thought... sad for the person that lost it... so I'm on a mission to find that person.... IF ONLY THEY WOULD HAVE PUT THEIR NAME ON THE BOX! My name and number are on my boxes! Years ago I fished the Terryall with a friend that is the best and most precise fly tier on the planet.... he lost his loaded... REALLY loaded box of all his small stuff... had to be 500 flies in there.... darn those natural colored boxes that blend in with the terrain. We never found it. He did not have his name on it either. I'm sure that someone found it and thought it was manna from heaven.

Let's hope for the best.

Back when I first started fly fishing I found a box at a reservoir in North Park. No name or number. At the time it was definitely manna from heaven. It had alot of good stillwater flies. Mostly hand tied. It had been buried under snow all winter. Some of the hooks were a bit rusty but still usable after a sharpening. Since then I have lost a couple of boxes.. Most recent was my BWO/midge box. It hurt alot and now I have my name and number in all my boxes. It was absolutely stuffed with flies. But it was kinda fun to sit down and tie up an entire box from scratch though. It is a much better, more streamlined box now.

Funny I've never lost one. Tie on my fly and it goes right back in my vest.

I lost one about 3 years ago... It took loosing one to put my name and contact info in all of mine! Sucks to lose em. Especially when they are mostly your ties.
