Default Lost Dog

Lost my dog during the windy weekend. She slipped out is hopefully wandering around Westminster. I dont know if someone found her and put her in their house for safety or in the pound. Ive contacted everywhere and there is no signs.
Please be on the lookout for a black female lab with no collar.

Contact me if there is any sightings of a stray lab

Hope you got your dog back in good shape, Southplatter.

The chips in my dogs are between the shoulder blades, about the size of a grain of rice. They put them in with a big ol' syringe! With a scanner, a vet can get a number, which is in data base of one of three companies and will give the pet's name, and owners info as registered when the chip was placed. (If you move you can tell your vet, or get online and update your contact info). Pretty sure these are not GPS technology. Very handy if the dog shows up at a shelter.

I have seen GPS equipped collars on hunting dogs on TV -- pretty cool. Last week on "Lady Hoggers."

Not to hijack the thread, but is there a chip that contains a gps? That can be implanted?

Tried starting a new topic but it was deleted (maybe because I posted a link to the product and mentioned the store and a well meaning administrator thought it was spam)

Anyway, you can now buy a Tagg GPS for your dog's collar and track location on your i-phone or computer. My cute little rescue dog runs off all the time and he'll be street pizza one day. Cost for the GPS collar is $99 and available at Target, Best Buy or online. That includes three months of service and then it's $8/month.
