Default One sacrific to the river gods..

Lost an old fiberglass rod and reel on the Arkansas River, Bighorn Sheep canyon and I think it was red rocks or tin cup rapid above Vallie Bridge. Not sure of the make of the rod or reel. But it was a 6/7 weight and it has white duct tape holding one of the guides on. The drag on the reel does not actually adjust, luckily it broke at a good setting. I know that it is not worth much, but it was my fathers... It is the one I learned to cast with. It also survived many days on the river and many flips in the inflatable kayak. The guide was broken when a friend climbed in to chase down the raft he just flipped on a river in ID. I doubt that it will turn up, but got to try.. Well I am sure that Dad would approve of how it was lost.

That sucks...
Hope your luck turns around and you get reunited with your lost rod.

Sorry you lost that rod Bugz, but I think you are right. Your Dad would approve.

I may have to go back with fins and a scuba mask and take a look at the bottom of the pool below where I flipped.
