Default Fort Collins / Loveland areas

I moved here in July after retiring from the Air Force. I have all the ice fishing gear for winter, and a boat and tons of stuff for summer as well. Just need to find someone who is interested in tagging along who may have knowledge in this area. My neighbor went with my fly fishing once and we both got the skunk. I have had minimal success at horsetooth and boyd, and zero success at carter. I currently work at Boyd Lake Visitor Center so an evening of ice fishing after work is very convenient for me. Or I'm off Mondays and Tuesdays.

Looks like the OP bailed out on this thread. I'm new to fishing and am looking for someone to head up the Poudre river to fly fish. I live in Fort Collins, PM if interested.

I am back! and i am now living in FOCO once again! Gone full circle and now I am where I learned to fly fish. Right now I have tues and fri-sun free to fish. Heading for some high lake fishing up near cameron pass this weekend or tuesday. Hoping to hit Delaney and the N platte soon. If it swims I am interested. Wondering where the closest place for pike is for the fall and will be doing some carp fishing as well. PM if you want to get on the water.

How long will you be in town for? Once archery is over and the honey do list is done, I will have some time to get on the river.

I will talk to you soon Ninja.. Things came together pretty fast and it has been a whirlwind. I would love to get down to our spots this fall and winter. Might need a couch to sleep on. My old room in C-springs is going to be ripped apart to fix stuff from this springs flooding.
