Default Need a fly fishing buddy this weekend (October 24)

Flying to Denver this Saturday (October 24th) for fly fishing. Most of the fly fishing guides charge ~$250 for a 2-person half day trip so was looking for a fishing buddy so we can split the cost.

I have very limited fly fishing experience but very easy going and love to meet new friends.

Anyone wants to join me?!!

Text or call me at 717-862-8688

You can always try Craigslist.

This is our home water, most of us just go fishing without the guide. You might want to try offering to drive, pay for gas food beer etc for anyone who wants to show you around and give you some pointers.....

Cool My II Cents

IMO
That is a wide request Steve. Beginner to fly fishing.
Do some online searches and decide: species, where you want to fish, what area, lake or river.
There is so much info online from fly patterns to areas to look at. If you pick an area you might get someone to help out, narrow your request down some.

Try posting on the 'find a partner' forum. Might be somebody that would want to split guide fees.

Sounds like youre looking to avoid guide fees by finding a local to show you the goods.

You should just change your destination to ID, MTor WY or something (Thermopolis or Sinclair are nice this time of year). All our fish are small and hard to catch. To catch the fish in my profile pic I had to use a 16 ft leader down to 8x. Nymphing with a size 32 midge with legs, eyes and and a butthole with no indicator...... Also the state is full of A-holes from TX and CA.... Really not worth even visiting.
