Default Need a Third Man - Lower Blue Float Fishing Trip this Saturday 10/24

Doing final rafting trip of the season on my rig, winterizing on Sunday. Plan on floating Lower Blue on Saturday 10/24 from the dam down to takeout past Jones Ranch. Most of my fishing buddies are out hunting. I have one buddy coming along, but dragging my raft/frame out with two people sucks, so there's room for one more.

Anyone that has rowing experience for fly fishermen is welcome, we'll row for you to fish too! If you have a vehicle to help run shuttle, even better.

Send PM if interested.

Thanks!

I will put some thought into it.

PS

I can row you into the hole, over it, away from it and sometimes near it.

Default Eh, did okay.

Hooked a few but didn't land most of the ranch fish. Had one on the line that we saw for a second over 2 feet in length but the current dragged the boat away from the diversion he was sitting under, couldn't move it and broke off. Both guys I was with have never fished in there, which makes things a bit difficult. Most people I talked to it was a pretty slow day. Best action was stripping streamers in the section after the ranch, lots of really nice browns brought to the net but nothing huge.

That place is always hit or miss for me.

My bro was there a couple weeks ago and they got a 9 and a 6.5 lb rainbow. But nothing else of any size. Its been slow for him lately compared to several years ago.
