I've been there a few times. I've heared its been really tough to find and stay on fish. They got pounded all winter and the fish seem to be "skittish"

Macks are sport fish. Kokanee are forage.

(J/k. Sort of. A buddy and I hit the timing just right a few years ago and jigged up dozens of those 3-5 lb kokanee for three days. Great fun!)

You probably already know it's illegal. They take it seriously up there and seize your tackle, boat, truck, etc. Believe me, if it was legal a whole lot of folks would be doing it, I'm sure!

I do love fresh grilled kokanee, though! Yum!

Come on guys a little humor I know it's illegal and i for one would never use a fish that tastes that good for bait. Been reading some reports by friends that flaming george is realy heating up and the fishing is turning on.
