Exclamation Moving to Boulder area - Looking for fishing buddies

I'm moving my family to the Boulder area soon and am looking for fishing buddies. I'm 41, have a 6yr old son that I take with me. Former marine, love anything and everything about hunting and fishing. I'm wanting to get my son involved with as much as I can. Happily married as well to crazy (but good) Mexican woman. Trying to find like minded people over there to go fishing/camping/hunting with or to just sit back and drink beer on occasion. I grew up around all of this in Wa but have gotten away from it over the years. Job relocation is allowing me to get to CO so I want to get my family involved with as much outdoor activities as possible...

I'm also one of those guys who grew up and live a lil old school and mean what i say and say what i mean.

If you are in similar boat, hit me up, or hell if you arent and just want a fishing/hunting buddy, let me know...

Judgmentally speaking. I'm very sorry you have to live in Boulder.
Thanks for your service.

And there you have it,lol. I'm sure you are happy to protect this country and it's right to free speech so Turdo can speak his mind. lol.

Ignore Turdo, he has vision issues, can't see straight. Use the search function and you will find that Boulder is an okay place to be as far as fishing goes. Chuckplegm lives up that way and loves giving tips and doing trips with noobs to the area. Hit him up.

Welcome to the world's second worst fishing

I wish you luck (and I really mean that in a caring manner). As a general rule, I find Boulder people suck....

Boulder is great. Boulder creek fishes pretty well for browns throughout the whole canyon.

All the Boulder hate is funny... Boulder is a beautiful city, and they take a great deal of pride in their parks and nature areas. You'll have no trouble finding a few great fishing holes for your family.

There are lots of great fishing for you and the 6yr old. I have a 10yr son who I fish with a lot. I'd happy to share some great places. I'm not far from Boulder.

Default Boulder fishing

I live in Longmont, and I have to say that Boulder and Larimer counties have a ton of fishin' holes. Maybe more per square mile than any where else in the state. From big reservoirs to wild mountain streams and creeks to little ponds tucked away and out of sight.

And all the nay sayers can chime in with there jealous remarks about folks out this way all they want to, doesn't make any of it true, glad not to have 'em around.

Anyway, about 13 or so species can be found here (not including different types of trout) with minimal drive times, and any time you want to go, just say the word. Check the CDOW site for the fishing atlas and you can get all the info you need from their interactive map.

Anytime you want to go I know a ton of cool spots. just let me know. My 6 year old loves to go to so..

I think they are sorry as boulder folk like to have everything sugar coated and politically correct. Not the type of folk that can handle being told like it is.
