Default Diawa Reel Repair

I have a Lexa 300 that is a giant piece of crap... after about 7-10 months, it stopped being adjustable (spool tensioner). Anyhow, now it is impossible to cast very far. Another buddy has the same reel, same issue... Anyhow, is there any local reel repair places that any of you might recommend? If not, where else might you suggest? I would go through Diawa, but I hear it's redic turn around time....

Based on two cases of trying to get Daiwa repair parts, I would not put anymore money or time into the reel.

I bought a Tatula HD and it sucks! Every time I stray from Shimano I end up regretting it!

I have to agree with Neal and Slayer... My experience with Diawa has been underwhelming to say the least. I have had issues with 2 of their reels and they just seem delicate. I had a few issues with my Abu too... The Shimano's sure have performed well.

I have a Pluton and an older Pixy, both of which have been bullet-proof. However, I also have multiple Curado D s, which is what I think I'll stick with for a while. Great functionality, Good solid feel and easy to clean and reassemble.
