Glenn,
Here's a link that may be of help. If you don't want to use spray paint and do it by hand, nail polish does work great despite what the homo-phobes have to say. Whatever you do you will want to prime first. I repaint my kasty's and and swedish pimples. I sand them and then finish with steel wool. Then I spray prime. Then I apply the nail polish, then I spray on a clear coat for durability.

I've used Testors Acrylic paints before...to give it depth add a coat of two part epoxy...not an epoxy adhesive.

You should see how my water marbling came out for Christmas...Ooh La la...

And if anyone wants to know...You could always water marble your lures or jigheads and create some really cool effects...

This one is just for Tony the pikester...
