Bluegill

I just free-handed my first bluegill swimbait, and it looks really good. I am happy as heck.

Will post up pix when it is dry. I wanna go fish it tomorrow! 8)

OK, couldn't wait till it was dry.

Still need to rout out the eyes, and another coat of epoxy. Prolly not done by tomorrow.

I am pretty happy for a first attempt!

looks pretty sweet, can you add a lighter or something for size relation?

Sweet looking bait. I really like the paint on it, doesn't look so cartooney like most. l ike the faint bars.

Awesome!

I've gotta get back to building some of those baits. I've got a few "generic" baits I'm happy with(they work), but nothing like this.

I'm most impressed with the stripes for how natural and real they look.
