Default Survival bracelets

Anyone make these? My kids got me hooked on making these and with some free time working out of town I needed a time killer. They are made with 550 paracord and can be taken apart in the field as needed. The bigger one is a millipeded pattern and holds around 20' of paracord. The smaller one is a crooked river pattern and holds around 10' of paracord. The paracord is very strong and has lots of uses while hunting or fishing or whatever. The are many color choices and patterns as well. I have found the paracord in stores for 10 cents a foot or a 100' bag for $7. Kind of a fun little hobby with something you can wear in the field that actually could be of use if needed. I can post some more patterns if anyone is interested.

The kids like to play around with a lot of colors. The solid colors don't look so hippy'ish. I can see them being pretty handy when camping or hunting or even fishing if you needed some length of cord. The milipede pattern really deploys easy and you would have 20' of working paracord in seconds. The concept is pretty cool. I have read these are pretty popular with the military folks.

Default Survival bracelets

I see a thing that won't break if it snags on something.
I've seen lost fingers from rings getting caught on a truck bed while a guy jumped out of a military truck.
Watch bands break, this survival thing wouldn't.
I got issues with treble hooks and my normal clothing without adding to the collection.
