Default White MHX blanks

Yup, they are white, bright white...can't wait to get it built, for a SJ842, it feels pretty darn sporty on the tip end, fast action, it feels heavier than most 2 powers, almost like a drop shot rod. Will post up some pics when I get around to it later.

When you gonna build at K2 spinning rod? Ill trade you straight up for a 76MLElite.... . Good luck on that white MHX, it is going to look good on the new stradic.

Paint just adds weight and dampens senstivity.
If you are more about looks then it works.

I may not build another phenix blank....too many inconsistencies in their blanks and what they release for specs, not bad rods, but I would like to pay for what they list and not what I get. Phenix makes some sick blanks on the fishability side of the house, no doubt.

What Phenix does have going for them is their warranty, no questions asked. most are $25 to replace the blank. And I would not know anything about their support of this policy since none of the Phenix rods I've built have had problems. My next high dollar rod will be a NFC HM.

You will like the other blank I ordered, if anything it's on the heavy side of MH.
