Default Learning new skills

Just for SS, I know how much he loves his fishing rod bling

Naw, I just have lots of time with my back problems slowing me down, so I've turned to killing lots of time on decorative thread wraps and practice.

The metallic one is 17" long in total.

Honestly, those look great. Not my thing, true, but very well executed.

Salut!

Drew how long did it take you to rap that top rod? Very nice and cool looking as well. Now you just have to learn how to rap your name on the rods.

9 hours, with at least 3 being just thread packing, I need to learn how to lay down the threads closer so the packing is easier. I will learn to weave my name soon as I can get a weaving jig.

A tip on weaving... be sure your hair is cut short so you can't get a grip on it when you go to pull it out. The start the project.
