Default Ghetto tight quarters fly rod!

Ive had this for a year now and never posted it. I got bored one day and went to walmart and got a cheap 5' ultralight shakspere casting rod. Went home and bench ground the whole real seat down to the blank. Went to eagleclaw and got the bottom 1/4 to a scurve. Did the best i could between the old rod and the new seat i had and made this. Not all the pretty but it was the first time i ever made a somewhat of a custom rod that i wanted. I could of done way better on the grip now that i look back on it but its whatever. What do you guys think?

HD for size relation.

Thats pretty awesome, I have one that I built out of an old fly rod. I cut it down to 5' so that I could fish high mountain creeks easier. Good job bro!

If the grip isn't too small, it looks like it could be fun. I wonder how the fly line shoots through those guides. I'm curious as to what weight line that thing casts.

Its some cheap ebay 2w floating. It really only hangs up if you get the leader inside the tip.

Brookies could be in trouble.
