Default What happened to the "no politics or religion" rule?

Just curious...did the rule of not posting about politics or religion go away? Is nobody enforcing it? Seems the off topic section isn't being moderated....or something changed?

That is pretty much impossible, you can't really decide if something is offensive without reading it first. I agree that we probably let too many things bother us , but guidelines are in place for a reason.

When they were first talking about getting rid of political and religion posting I was against it. I remember saying they would lose a ton of traffic. Well they did it and they lost a ton of traffic. The site is more active with it.

The people it bothers a lot should push for a political sub-forum and then just don't go in there.

I always like to read people's views on these topics. If anyone's feelings are hurt than you might want to just unplug the internet..
