Default Malicious code in thread needs to be deleted immediately

The link in the first post of this thread (I am the new girl) has malicious code. Just hovering over it tried to gain Administrator access to my machine. I am an IT professional and and am not B'sing you.

The original thread was deleted. I didn't get any warning from my AV/AM programs. I did a full scan overnight, just because I had said therewas no big deal and I wouldn't want to mislead any fellow forum members.

My scan returned no threats, and I clicked on the link and looked at the page it diected us to.

NO problems.

YMMV

Good looking out anyway, JKA.

It is not that my system was vulnerable; as soon as I hoovered over the link my Kaspersky AV/Firewall thew a warning and then a program tried to launch and could not launch because administrative access was requested. It is not that my system is vulnerable (though ALL systems are vulnerable); it is that my system threw a warning and then an error by just hoovering over a link which throws up a major red flag. I am glad the original thread was deleted and that chuckphlegm's scans returned nothing (as did mine).

I just don't want people to have problems. There are so many users who just don't have a clue or any protection....
