Default Fish ID sunfish type?

Caught a few of these guys today along with some that are much brighter but look relatively the same, and tons of green sunfish. I am relatively new to the whole bluegill, shellcracker, sunfish hybrid sorta game so not exactly sure what this guy is??

I don't think they were bluegill, bluegill are usually much lighter but I am also not sure if they get darker during spawn or anything like that. How big do green sunfish get I can only find small ones so far

After a little research I would say def. a gill. Looks like they get darker in darker water.

Check out this one:

Defiantly a gill. Here's 4 I caught the other day, all out of the same bush. Crazy how different they can look.

From someone who knows a little bit about "bream" (as we call 'em here) - that is most definitely a bluegill. Nice one, too! Way to go!
