Default Granby Bachelor Party

The best man, me, has to find a great trout hole. Haven't been there in years. Don't have a boat. Could use some tips on fishing from the shore up there. Where, What? Trying to get the Bachelor some big boys before he can't fish again for the rest of his life.
So some advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, need some info on camping up there but looking for a non-campground area. Might get a little loud.(Backcountry, but not a hike--whatever that means. Don't feel like carrying a bunch of booze for miles. I do have four wheel drive. Will travel)
Going up on thursday morning for the night.
Please help. You will be invited for free beers!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called up there and somebody mentioned county road 4. Any idea where that is?
Laker Taker: looks like there is a lake and some creeks up stillwater pass. Any fish?

I think County Road 4 is the road that goes up to Stillwater Pass. It's a good area to camp but there may be some people up there as well. As you're passing Granby, you'll get to Dillie Docks on the east and a storage place on the west. Make a left just after the storage place - where the crazy lady runs her cows. I think she has a yak up there too. Not sure but there used to be a big statue of an elk on one corner as well. Pass the houses and it will turn into a dirt road. At the junction, stay left and drive past the big parking/staging area down the hill. You'll see areas where you can pull out on the left or right (mostly on the left).

I've fished the creek on the west side of the pass - typical Colorado stream with rainbows, browns, and brooks. Never fished the lake (or looked for it).
