Default Tiger Muskie Stockings

I was told last year that there would be no stocking of Tiger Muskie in the state this year, but those guys had to make a liar out of me again.

9/14/06-Hoseshoe Res. 1,600
Diagre res. 200
Clear Creek Res. 4,000
Wahatoya res. 500
De weese Res. 3,000

9/18/06-Charter Ponds 30
Whacker Ponds 35
Overland Trail Park 40
Jumbo annex 25
Holyoke City Lakes 60
North Sterling Res. 250
Stalker lake 70
Doty Park Pond 20
Ft. Morgan Pond 2 45
Haxton Gun Club Lake 15

9/19/06-Harriman Lake 728
Evergreen Lake 233
Johnson Res. 495

I't Will be Quite some time before the surivors reach maturity, and the numbers are kind of small, But it is nice to know that the entire year wasn't taken off.

Remember if you see people catch these fish please pass along the importance of landing correcly, Holding corectly,and releasing these wonderful fish.

35 at Whacker Ponds? Holy Cow! I've seen some big shadows lurking but always figured they were catfish I couldn't catch. Going to have to re-think the methodologies!

250 at North Sterling! I'm going to have to stop going down the list...too good!

clear creek res. is about 7 miles south of twin lakes about 1/4 mile west of hy.24

Thanks for the info. I was fishing @ Evergreen on 09-20 & didn't even get a stocking bite. Where were you able to find the info.* I have looked on the DOW site but no info under some links. Anyway fish on.

Thanks for the info. I never knew DeWeese had Tigers in it. I'll have to give em a try next spring. Do you handle a Tiger the same way you would a Pike?

really? I find it hard to believe they would put tigers in a high trout lake, maybe the DOW is waking up a little !! great news, now if we could some stocking on the west slope.....

They stocked tigers in Clear Creek Res. a few years ago. *That lake is full of suckers! *Hopefully the tigers will deal with them because the trout in that lake never grow very large, at least the ones I catch. *I go there every summer and have never seen one of the tigers from shore or from my boat.
