I stopped by Boyd to check it out today. The auxiliary ramp in Heron Cove (north of the marina channel) looks quite usable. The path from the road down to the water is kind of long, but you can drive down it front-end-first and then turn around near the bottom to back your boat in. There is no dock out, and the ramp is narrow, barely one boat wide, but I didn't see any big problems with it. I'm going to take my boat down there Friday morning and give the walleyes a shot. One fisherman with a float tube said that he had been getting a lot of white bass.
