Default Shadow Mountain Drawdown

I think Kokaneeking mentioned it in his post and I also ran across this press release....

They are going to drop the water level at Shadow Mountain Reservoir 12 feet in order to kill off weeds. The drop in water level will start around Oct. 15 and will be completed around Dec 9.

Sounds like the last week of November/first week of December will be a good time to hit the canal (while they're re-filling the lake).
