Default fish fry

i just got back from the fish fry at the rocky flats bar and grill. they offer perch, walleye, catfish. i had the walleye. in my opinion, it was kind of spendy. its 16 dollars for the walleye. you get coleslaw, your choice of baked potato or french fries. i heard a rumor that they flew it in from wisconsin.. its false they get the fish from a local dist. i would not go in there wearing anything to do with the vikings lol. they love the packers. friday night is the only night they do the fish fry. and it ends at 930pm.

Thanks for the "fish report". That does sound a little pricey, is it all you can eat?

Expensive but where else are you going to go if you want Walleye at a resturant?

Hard to believe such a tasty fish is not on more menus at more resturants.

The restaurant at Centennial Airport has it too...or at least they did...

Sometimes Cherrycrest Seafood Restaurant and Fish Market at University and Orchard has it as a special...

theres a place next to Bennets tackle shop in Berthoud that has walleye. The best fish fry in the state is the one my girlfriends parents have. This year we had all kinds of fresh fish from their friends in florida, salmon and halibut we caught in alaska and fresh walleye and perch from Canada. we had 6 fryers going at once to cook it all, and a smoker the size of an outhouse.

no its not all you can eat. you get a about a 12'' by 3'' fillet. they do have you coming or going... i dont know were else you can get walleye. if you live in the ''area'' (10 mile radius) it might be worth the catfish, its only 10 dollars and i will assume that its about the same size as the walleye. catfish are pretty easy to get in other diners. i do want to stess the fish is not flown in from wisconsin that morning. they come pre-batterd and in the bag. much like you would get from the freezer from safeway or king soopers.
there is a store in cheery creek that has walleye fillets. whole foods has it. but be prepared to fill loan papers out at the time of purchase.lol j/k.

Edwards Meats on 44th and Ward Rd, sells fresh walleye fliets as well. $12.99/lb if my memory is correct.
