Default Fish Identification Help

Sorry for the lack of face/mouth presentation.

Is this a Whitefish? Something Else?

Caught in Chatfield yesterday.

I forgot to add that the fish has a tiny little mouth (no sucker). I thought shad...and looking at the shad pics i see black dots in a horizontal pattern on the side, but this caught fish does not have those.

Hard to be certain with that picture but based on the tail and dorsal fin I'd say gizzard shad.* Here's a picture of a large gizzard shad:

Cherry Creek has some shad this size as well. Would be nice if more predators were stocked to help control them.
