Default IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME.

HELLO TO ALL,
* * I ONCE PARTICIPATED ON THIS SITE BEFORE MOVING AND LOSING COMPUTER ACCESS. A BIT OF TIME HAS PASSED. IT WAS A BUMMER, BUT I SEEMED TO SURVIVE THE MANY MONTHS OF NO coloradofisherman FORUM. NOW I AM BACK. I WAS KNOWN AS THE POPE THEN, BUT YOU CAN REFER TO ME AS THE POPER. IT IS GOOD TO SEE SLAYER IS UP TO HIS OLD SELF. NICE BROOKIE, AGAIN, SLAYER! I HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO FOLLOW FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS AND IT HAS BEEN DIFFERENT. SEEMS THE TONE OF THE WEB SITE HAS CHANGED A BIT. I DO NOT RECALL CALLING OUT FISHERMEN ABOUT THEIR SIZE OR STORY BACK IN THE DAY. I DO NOT REMEMBER THE ROUGH TEXT BETWEEN TWO FISHERMEN ON WHO IS RIGHT AND WRONG OVER SOME INSIGNIFIGANT FACT. I AM A FISHERMAN, I AM A HUNTER, I AM ONLY HERE TO SHARE WHAT I HAVE DONE RIGHT AND WHAT I HAVE DONE WRONG IN THE PERSUIT OF FISH AND ANIMAL. I ONLY HOPE TO HELP ANY ONE WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN LEARNING SOMETING HE OR SHE MAY NOT ALREADY KNOW. IT SEEMS WE LOST SOME OF THAT MOJO!! I HOPE I CAN BRING SOME OF THAT BACK. SO THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PROVIDE THIS WEB SITE WITH GOOD, FUN INFORMATION. FISHING STORIES ARE GREAT, FACT OR FICTION. IT IS NOT ABOUT HOW BIG OR HOW MANY, BUT THAT YOU WENT OUT AND ACTUALLY COUGHT FISH.
GOOD TO BE BACK. THANKS.

HERE ARE SOME PICTURES.

THE FIRST BASS IS ABOUT 10"
THE SECOND IS ABOUT 8-1/2"
AND THE LAST IS A RARE BROWN TROUT. COOL
THE BASS WERE COUGHT ON A 1/2 TERMINATOR SPINNER BAIT, NO TRAILER HOOK, DARK CHARTRUSE SKIRT. THE CATFISH WAS COUGHT ON A CABELAS 3/8 SPINNER (LIVIN EYE) BAIT AGAIN NO TRAILER HOOK BUT A BRIGHT CHARTRUSE SKIRT THIS ROUND. PRE-SPAWN APRIL OF 06.*FEW MORE MONTHS AND IT WILL BE GO TIME....

And that 'Brown' might explain why some folks here call trout 'Slimers'...

10" = 10# or a 10" girth?

thanks for the warm welcome back,
yes, April is right around the corner, and I can't wait. Throwing midge patterns will get us through the winter, but nothing is more thrilling then early pre-spawn bass fishing. Nothing!
bassmaster, my screen name is the same as my last name, minus the r.
no good story here.

Don't forget about the smallies

Arvada res. may 23rd 2006
I forgot to add , cabela's brand spinnerbait 1/2 oz, chartrusse skirt (bright), I replaced the inner colorado blade with a willowleaf blade, copper, no trailer hook. and one ton of fun.
