Fishy spots around Keystone Resort?

Hey Everyone-

My wife and I will be traveling from out of state to Keystone in the beginning of July. She will be attending a nursing conference all week and I hope to be fishing! However I am extremely green to this area and could use some tips/advice. I understand there is a threat of runoff during this time in the rivers.

Some challenges I will be facing:

-staying on Keystone resort property
-no rental car
-will be traveling with fly fishing gear only

I am not opposed to pound some ground and hike a little ways to some water. Just really looking to experience what Colorado has to offer and maybe get a few species I can't catch on the east coast. Any help on some good locations would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Send a PM to Fordo on the forum... he's a guide in the area and can hook you up.

I suggest you fish lakes and forget roving water. We have an above average slowpack this year.

Closest would be Snake inlet to Dillon, but don't know anything about it.
