Default Steamboat, Hayden, Craig?

Hey all! I just moved up to Hayden from the metro area a few weeks back. I do most of my fishing on the yampa in steamboat and the bridges at pumphouse and second mile in Hayden. I'm primarily a trout fisherman that likes to use fly rods, but fishing is fishing so I'll throw metal at a smallmouth or some pike if the opportunity presents itself. I wanted to see if any locals were on here to talk some honey holes around the area (hayden, craig, steamboat, flat tops, Clark, etc.)

Also, I need fishing buddies..... I drink beer, tie flies, and uhhh drink beer, so if you're interested.......

Well ill be in Craig hunting the end of next week. I plan to fish the Yampa mid day or all day if i tag out early. Was hoping the Yampa still had plenty of smallies left after the kill out from CPW.

The yampa is low AF, and as a result, the CPW shocked every deep hole they could find to remove the pike and other undesirables. If you want pike, stagecoach and Elkhead are your best bets.

The areas around steamboat are pretty good for troutskis.

Elkhead has really nice black bass too, of both varieties...
