Default Colorado fishing

I am from Pa. I fish for stripers , walleye and we have white perch that over populated our lake . I fish for the white perch since good eating fish and help reduce the population . This year I caught my 50 inch tiger musky and 4 pike in the 40s with no leader since dont need for white perch and eyes.

My girl friends kids are in Colorado and planning to move . Well you know the fist thing I needed to do don't you ? Right . Find out about the fishing .

I here good things about Pueblo Reservoir . We were there this year and think may be moving in another year.

I have a 16 ft wide semi v with a new 9.9 merc. Can anybody give me some info on Peublo and some of the other lakes for what I fish for.

Thanks for any info. Jack

Two new members from Pennsylvania in one day and both have significant others with ties to Colorado... what a coincidence!

And a 50" tiger musky is damn near a world record. Did you get a pic of it?

Get an 18-19' aluminum deepv with at least a 75 HP motor before you come to CO. CO is very proud of their boats and the prices show.

I don't have any info on Pueblo but have some on 11 mile if you PM me.

Welcome to the forum

pueblo has good walleye fishing from a boat and most days from daylight till noon your boat will do fine and afternoon just keep a sharp eye out for weather if you do get caught out just head into one of the many coves and wait it out, usually it quiets down at sunset, we do have wipers, a cross of stripers and white bass. no muskies or pike here. but some other lakes have them

Thanks Guys .
Im from York Pa the other side of the river .

In the lake I fish the lake record was I think 54 inches . I caught mine on a 1 inch minnow fishing for white perch .

I told my girl friend I am going to need a bigger boat . Ill start looking next year. Ill use you as my back up plan. Ill say the guys at the site said I need a bigger boat with a bigger motor. I already told her and shes ok with it . Then I am going to need a bigger truck to pull the bigger boat since my truck is ready to be put down.

I seen the reports of big walleye and big wipers and made the move easier HAHA.

How do I post a pic I tried to post for my profile but didnt except it . I am not computer smart . I am fishing smart . I posted a photo album and it has the musky picture in it .
