Default The fish don't stand a chance....

Heard a population forecast for Colorado the other day on the radio so I decided to look on the internet for info. Colorado population was just over 5 million in 2010 and is expected to grow to just over 6 million by 2020 and to 7.1 million by 2030 and 7.7 million by 2035.

Most of the increase will be along the front range with smaller increases on the western slope and the eastern plains.

Add to that the fact that we have added very few reservoirs in the last 10-20 years.

If you think its crowded now-everything is going to look like Spinney on opening day

And there will be no enforcement so it won't matter.

The only species that will be C&R will be carp because what do you do with a dead carp.

"C'est la vie," folks. There are still remote areas in the south and the middle of the US... And Canada...

Fortunately Putin will have bombed us to the stone ages, and the nuclear winter will curtail the population, resulting in a dystopian society where warlords will run local governments. Hopefully they will allow us to fish on the right side of that stupid rope at cheesman lake.
