Default Floats for boats

We've all seen those plastic floats for jetskis where you can drive up onto the float and it gets the jetski out of the water. Do they make anything like that for a boat?

Reason I ask, I'm in a slip down in TX with a hoist but if I went with a slip without the hoist I could save $1500 a year. Its a 18'6" bassboat with a 150 motor so not real big.

I think your only option is a lift.

Why worry about raising it?
Does it get that scummed up or are you just worried about it leaking?

The hull gets dirty with algae etc. The other option is to get the boat out of the water every month or so and clean the hull but I'm looking for a way to avoid having to do that.

The boat has lots of flotation so even full of water it won't sink.

I did find a drive on lift that will fit inside a slip but its $10,000 so that doesn't save me any money.

A little algae won't slow down a light bassboat with a 150 on it, just trim up the motor so you keep the algae off it. 1,500.00 pays for quite a few boat washes.

Those floats for jetskis are ~$4k I can imagine the equivalent for a boat would be much more.

Have you looked for a used boat lift? Search craigslist around LOTO and TableRock.

You can find them here - I'm guessing they are pretty expensive.
