I can think of a spot or two where a tool like this could come in handy.

Say you were limited to fishing from shore and this thing could take your line out a ways for you. . .

still need a license to fly it....and the absence of a laser pod is a bummer.
and if it operates anything like the other wifi fish finders, it'll be an annoying mess.

I don't think the CPW would allow it for fishing as you cant use one for hunting

I think Tony (Pikester) was an early innovator in this method, just look at his Chatfield RC airplane adventures..
