Default colorado river along I 70

staying inside and talking with friends about a trip back to grand junction got me wondering something I've often wondered - anyone fish along I-70 east of hanging lake? access is pretty much from the rest areas and I never see anyone fishing there, but the several times we've stopped at a rest area I've seen fish surface. where it's wide, deep and slow seems like maybe worth a cast or two, no?

Never fished it. But that is how I've found some of my favorite fishin' holes... it's always worth a cast or two

I'm wondering if that's not where some of the walleye that CPW wants to eradicate hang out.

CPW has killed everything west of the divide, there's nothing left!
