Default The Hero Shot

Before the internet, there was the photo album at Gene Taylor's. This article makes me wonder how many i might of killed in the past. All on the count of my ego.

Heres a clip of the coolest customer I had all season. I wanted so bad to get a pic of this 84 year old fisherman with his 2 foot brown. He wouldn't let me take it out of the net. He said its bad for the fish and he already had enough pictures. Since that day, ive been thinking alot about the purpose of the hero shot and how it does or does not truly benefit me.

Helluva good example for his grandson or whoever the young fellow is. (And for all of us for that matter.)
