Default Turquoise/Twin

Planning a trip to Leadville for a reunion, and wondered if I could get a little advice - is either lake more user friendly from the bank? Are there boat rentals either place? One or the other have better fishing for novices?

When is the reunion? If it's anytime before June the lake is still frozen usually...

I'd say Turquoise is more friendly from shore. There are a lot more pups in Turquoise, which will help keep novices busy. Not 100% sure when the ice will come off, but I'd guess it will be closer to the end of April. We used to fish Turquoise quite a bit in May. Have fun!!
