I have done some hand brushed ones to enhance Rainbow versions and did some for ice fishing...pretty crude...so many air brush options...wasnt sure where to go...and ran out of time...in the background but not forgotten...I really need to win Powerball and retire...so I can fish and putz...

I'm sure if I painted a lure the fish would be spooked to the next zip code.

Sounds crazy, but my dad taught me this years ago, and I still have a couple of effective lures from it....He would take some of mom's fingernail polish (red) and do a small dot on the tail end or right under the lip of old crankbaits that needed a little flash. Take an old crank you haven't had luck with in a while....polish it up, throw a couple new treble hooks on it and tip it one of those two places and get it wet....it can make a big difference, and what do you have to lose? Let me know if ya have any luck.
