Default Colorado newbie- places near Boulder

Hey everyone. Been fly fishing my whole life; I'm from GA so I've never fly fished out west and looking forward to it (flying in tomorrow). Does anyone have a spot to recommend for me to try out/fishing water with good access? I'm staying in Boulder but willing to travel small distances to get to some good water. Also willing to do some hiking to get to the water as well. I've been reading that now is still pretty early for most decent water to fish, and the trout are mostly biting on small midge patterns. Any information would be appreciated!

On a separate note, if anyone has recommendations on good/picturesque hikes in general in the Boulder area, I'd love to know!

Thank you!!
