Default Catfish near metro area

Hey guys, I’m trying to get some information on getting some decent catfish from the bank. I live near cherry creek and go occasionally at night (around 9-12) and haven’t gotten anything lately. Was getting a couple walleye when I showed up a couple months back. Am I going at a bad time? I’m usually somewhere near the tower. Hit up Barr lake last weekend around 5am off the fishing dock left of the boat ramp and got 1 perch in 8 hours. I tried mussels, dough and crawlers. That lake kind of looks promising..... any suggestions?

A little far for you to travel but nice catfish off Youngsfield and I70 in the ponds at the open space. One small bass pond is artificial lures only, but the two bigger ponds are ok for bait. Try Tabor pond for cats. its the larger pond I think. on Youngsfield between 44th and the old Walmart next to the log house display home.

Yea I’m not too familiar with the area but I will definitely check it out! I’m willing to travel a little bit, thank you!!! I’m gonna try off the east ramp at the creek tonight, was there earlier today just messing around with the kids and hadn’t previously been to that spot. Thanks a lot guys!
