Re: 11 mile kokes
This is off of the 11-mile report as of June 7.
TROUT: (Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat, Cuttbow, Splake) FAIR: Action is still difficult although there are some nice Rainbows being caught. Many anglers out of the boats have done well close to sundown. Rocky Flats to Stoll Mountain and Howbert to Witchers Cove has seen consistent production. Troll in depth of water ranging from 25 to 35 feet and keep your baits close to the surface. Shore anglers not faring any better than the boaters. Even night action has been difficult with bite times being sporadic. 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM has seen best activity.
KOKANEE SALMON: FAIR: Limits are not being caught but there are anglers that are consistently catching 3 to 5 fish in an outing. Size ranges from 15 to 17 inches. Fish are still close to the surface. Trolling Arnies or Needlefish have been most productive.
NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR: Although you would think the spawn is over there is still a stray fish that is tagged that just finished. Most finding a tuff time tracking down the big ones. Cross Creek to Lazy Boy or Stoll Mountain west or to Rocky Flats has seen decent action.
