Default where to belly boat?

Anybody got any good ideas of where to belly boat in the
Denver metro area. I would like to find a place where i could fish and catch fish and maybe not get killed by all the speed boats.Prefer walleye and bass over trout but hey a fish on is a fish on.

Cherry Creek and South side of Chatfield - if you get to both early you can get in and out before the boat show begins. I am looking to do Aurora soon - that one should be good as well.

Aurora is good and if you have a bike, get yourself one of those kid trailers and bike over to the point where you can enter senac cove.* *Walleye are sometimes in Senac itself and also about 100 to 150 ft north (towards the dam) off the main point itself.

Chatfield- Go to the swim beach where the no wake buoy line is and go out about five to six buoys.* That's where the river channel is (a deep hole) and you can fish the edges.* Good for walley and trout. Also, just around the corner from the west boat ramp along the wingdam is good for smallmouths and an occasional walleye. You don't have to go very far out.

Cherry Creek - Cherry Creek can be crowed.* But, if you launch over by where they tie up the sailboats (along the north west corner of the dam, ) there is a ridge that runs straight out from the dam in fairly shallow water that is mostly occupied by fishermen not jet skis.* Good for walleye and wiper.* Just use a roadrunner with half a crawler or minnow.* Also, I catch wiper with just a minnow rigged on a number six hook with just a piece of split shot about six inches above it.* Just cast and fin away slowly.*

Good luck! * *
