Default Horsetooth?

Wondering what the conditions are up at Horsetooth. WE have never fished it and are considering trying it on Friday the 15th. Anyone know anything?

Thanks

Dan

Check the members reports page. The walleye bite is heating up. Find the mud lines, move slow. If you LBR, give them plenty of line before sweeping.

Good Fishin!

Fished it for the first time a couple weeks ago. Temps were 63-66 and the coves/dams were loaded with smallies and walleye. Even saw a 4 - 4 1/2 pound LMB nested up in a cove. Wish I could tell ya more. All I know is I will be going back soon

Dan just back from there today. *Get there early for topwater bite. It was awesome around pretty much any rocky structure. As the sun came up. Look for shade, it lasted till about 8:30am. Stay close to the shore for more hits, The bigger fish were a little further out. Water is very clear.

I was using poppers. like a pop-r , color did not seem to matter. I missed several larger fish but even the 13-15 inchers were a blast on top. I kid you not, I caught over 30 on top water alone. I put in at the far north ramp. Can't remember the name.

One the topwater bite slowed, I brought out the ol' rebel crawdad and started searching.

I'l PM you later with what I found.

Brett
