It's funny how hooking that first fish can hook some of us for a lifetime.

Yeah, mine was a small little brookie on a grasshopper in the Black Hills with my Dad and Grampa. Hooked for life.

A fishing trip to Minnasota to catch bullheads. We filled up a gunny sack. Used and old steel pole, black nylon braid line on a baitcasting reel, red and white bobber, heavy lead sinker, aberdeen style hook and nightcrawlers. The time spent fishing with your father is never forgotten. All you young guys take your kids fisheing.

I don`t remember it, but my father said it was a bullhead on a piece of worm when I was 2 or 3 (probably 3) years old. I can`t wait to take my son fishing, he`s 2 now, I`m thinking this or next summer, probably Quail or Prospect .

I was too young to remember it, but its funny how my earliest memories are all about fishing and hunting with dad. Or at least those are the ones that stand out the most.
