I've fished it, but not this year. *There is an awesome cove to camp at that is north of the main marina. * It's a cliff jumpers paradise as well as a smallie paradise. * There is a certain mile marker where you turn off to an oil road to get there. * Wish I could remember which one. *Sorry.
Definately camp in a cove where the shore access is usually easier......you can always hike to the cove mouths for trout and kokes......cats, crappie, and bass should be up in coves off the main lake. * Also check *the marina's for boat rental.......you might be able to pick up an aluminum 14' with a tiller motor for 45$ a day......that's priceless at Navajo.
